1988 Mazda 626 GLX 2L. The price was right. 283,000k's and still going strong. When you pass 4,500 rpm if you remove your foot from the accelerator and clutch in the throttle sticks and revs for another second before declining. Was kind of interesting when pushing the car. Clutch in, throttle sticks and climbs 2,000rpm over the red line, Woops, what happened there? Pic of it behind the GN.

92 Honda LXi 3 door..... Cheep as chips to run....no rust.....doesn't drop oil.
The only reason why I have a car is for those really shitty days when it's just not worth risking the bike.

My wife has a 2004 Ford Fusion (bit bigger than a Fiesta) to teach peeps to drive in..... Soon to be gone for a new diesel Mini, and when that's worn out we should be on our way to your fine land :cool2:

    what do you drive

I fang around in a 1936 Morris 8 Sports, It has a 72 Viva HB 1300 motor & suspension/front discs. WHY? you may well ask? Well because [a] its cheap rego about $80 per year, [b] no seatbelts/fixed roof ie open air vehicle quite easy to WOF [c] I dont have to get dressed up in protective bike gear on a stinkin hot summers day [d] its not subject to continuous rego- vintage car more than 40 years old [e] it carries more than a bike can[just] Its like this one in the attachment [my scanners not working ]

I drive a brand new Honda Civic, why, because it's a company car, its free and so is the petrol. Also a Pajero 4x4, why, because my partner and I have a "part time" garden business and we need something to tow a BIG trailer - ever tried pulling a tree out with a bike ( or a featherweight front wheel drive company car )

    Yep.

About 7 years ago, Johann Bruns (The Peoples hero) thought he'd kindly lend his Mum and Dad a hand in the garden by towing a tree stump outta the ground. On his Bandit.

One instantly fried 1200 clutch and a still rooted tree stump.

Silly boy. Why did he drive into the soft stuff instead of keeping to the ridges

she who must be obeyed won't let "her" 4x4 go anywhere interesting ( as in dirty ) so I have to resort to doing macho things like pulling trees out of the ground . Hell of a lot more fun than digging the stubborn bas..rds out
