    Nuff said.

Fuckin 4 liters of premium Japanese technology and engineering mate!

Try harder? I spun the thing at 170 going into the sweeper, just after I'd dived up the inside of this wanker in an Integra. Going backwards at the ton, wheels still churnin' forwards on the limiter in second and this spotty yoof with eyes like dinner plates staring at me from the wheel of his Honda.

Funniest race track moment I've ever had, bar none.

I recall many many moons ago a guy in a then new 93ish SS Comode had a go at racing me from about Govenors bay to Lyttleton. I was on my FZ400R, and the bike had a little extra go than the SS in a straight line, but not much. I stayed behind him rather than risk getting run over. The 400 was probably quicker than your 250, and a TVR would be heaps quicker than the Commode. So you clearly have more ability than me. Not that that's saying much...(sigh) Go racing.

someone else is claiming to take on a tvr not me, when racing no car has ever passed me, i defintetly dont let them passed when they might have more pull but thats part of the game aint it?

they fucking try alright, they just cant keep up anything from wrx to s55 AMGs to an M3 to a xr6 turbo to ss commodoers on the different hills around wellington, wainui, piecock, an rimutakas

an yes i am getting into racing / slowoly/ some wanks wont give me a warrant for my nie an tidy bike.

This is one thing I will agree on, I know my bike isnt the fastest but when I know the road better than the car, and want to boogie with a car, most of the time they go abit faster on the straights.... corners are where I get em (supose thats a good thing about the 250's)

But mikey, seriously - I get raped by some cars, and its abit upsetting but they always give me a thumbs up, just cool it man you have nothing to prove we are all bikers.

But seriously I did take out the TVR and MR2 on the same road, I'm not kidding - when I get the tank cam I will try hunt down a similar car and prove it, but anyways.. I have nothing to prove (other than I'm not a lier) - I ride for the enjoyment and practicality.

Most bikes give cars a run for there money, but the real expensive ones should be left to the bigger bikes.

Hmmm...... the oly way to find out for real Jonno is if you get yourself a stop watch and a decent car and decent bike (your ZXR is cool enough).

Then take the car and the bike over the same piece of road and time your self.....

This my bike is faster rant may only mean that you are a fast rider and the others are shitty wannabe drivers...... it does not mean that your bike is faster than their cars......

Case in point: Some big bikes were trying hard to do low 50's around Taupo........ while MR did 51's and 52's on my ZZR, so.........

Having spent over $1,000 on it in the past two weeks, with another cheque for $470 dollars waiting to be written to insure it, I'm not sure quite why I still own a car. Maybe it's time for the Hitcher household to rationalise the fleet...

Maybe I should buy a Gilera Nexus 500 as a commuter...

Grr. Don't mention cars and repairs . Bloody things. I just spent literally *all* afternoon running from one Honda (cage) dealership to another trying to get a ruddy fuel relay. Which, if it dies, totally immobilises the car. With no workaround. good design there Sochiro. Why such a simple thing should need at least 4 different variants I'm blowed if I know. And in the end I had to take one that is not quite right and I and my trusty soldering iron will mod it. grrr and double Grrr

I think this arguement, which is well off topic, can be sumed up like this:

Some bikes are faster than some cars.
Some cars are faster than some bikes.
Some cars that are faster than some bikes are slower on some surfaces.
Some bikes that are faster than some cars are slower on some other surfaces.
Some bikes that are slower than some cars are somewhat cheaper than some cars are.
Some bikes are slower than some purpose-built race cars.
Some purpose-built race cars are slower than some bikes.
Some people are full of shit.
