    The 'Good Stuff' Repository

I was thinkin today as i unwrapped my new Zero Gravity Double Bubble, there's a lot of gear involved in the "sport" (oil, riding gear, tyres, add-ons ...). I normally ask around b4 i buy. Some of the posts i've read involve someone asking what XXX they should buy.

For instance it took me a while to get a chain lube i was happy with (not havig the $ to afford a scott cos i just bought the db!).

So i figured with the combined knowledge here, we could build some sort of "Good Stuff" repository.

There would be a few probs up front. For starters, anybody could post any product, which might not necesarily be any good. So you'd have to maybe have a quota of people ok the product b4 it made the list. In it's current form i can't see how we'd implement that.

Also, in some cases, particularly tyres, you'd have to specifiy that they work well on one machine, but maybe aren't the good stuff for another machine. Pilot Sports seem good on the SV but may not be the shizzer even for something similar like a VTR or a duc.

Anyway, it's just an idea. Everybody might be happy just doin what they do and shopping round till they come across something they like...

    Good thunking thar,

Perhaps it would work if it was a "Product review" format. That way the information would shared as a personal experience, not, "this product is the best because ...."

Perhaps even a Thread directory could be dedicated to it ...
    Not even with yours!!!

As long as someone can recommend good quality coathangers I will be happy. My leathers seem to go through a coathanger a fortnight.

I got some big wooden hangers from the warehouse (I think they are $5 a shot), seem to be pretty robust.

    Touche.... there's a plan, i think that'd work, i'll ask SpankMe tonight i think...

then i'll post my "reviews" of the chain lube (the ZG screen will have to wait until i've ridden it to Timaru and back)

It'd be nice to be able to group stuff in the thread, but i reckon just a search would work, like being able to go "sport tyre" or "chain lube"...

DB is the new Porridge. Cause most of the mods must be sucking his cock ..... Or his giving them some oral help? How else can you explain it?
