Poos and wees. I give in! lol

    hey,

Finally gave in to my mums advice today and am ringing the bike repair store down the road tomorrow to see if i can take my RG in at the end of the week. I'm spending too much time trying to fix her than doing whats best and thats riding her. I'm clocking bout 600k under what i want to be doing each month! Anyway thanks all for the help you gave trying to figure it out, but she's a harsh mistress my betty, must have really pissed her off eh lol. Was thinking while she's getting if fixed of asking the mechanic to switch everything upside down...might give her that extra oomph hehe. Blah, should be outside practising night riding right now. Oh and whoever it was that was riding the badass mad max style 80's road bike in epsom today , totally badass!

No, it's Drider's mumma. He said `Poos finally gave into my mums advice today'. I didn't know Poos knew Drider's mumma, but then again Poos seems to know most people's mumma.

yeah, which means you'll still have no bike, and you'll have to argue with them to get them to fix it without further charging you

it's your choice, but i reckon if we know the problem, and have the tools, why pay them to fix it?

what's the story with the clutch cable?

What was wrong with the bike after the clutch cable was repaired? Im sure the rest of the forum is getting bored of us RG owners constantly throwing up 'Fuck my bike is broken.... again' threads

(update, I found new valves am ordering in the retaining clips springs etc etc from japanland and am over sizing the cylinder... i might even get a ride in before winter ! hell yeah)

asfaik, no spark until you give the lead a wiggle

    ie, dodgy lead

    Hmmm This sounds very familiar.

I had the same problem the other week. At first i thought it was lead and or ignition coil but it turned out to be the wires coming from the ignition the plug is poked.

If it's left to lie and flap around by itself the circuit is broken and theres no spark. If its pulled up and wedged tight so it can't move about it's sweet.

Took a whole day of fluffing around to find, glad I didn't have to pay someone to diagnose that
