    Sneeky Buggers!!!

I was just on the way home from work the other day, cruisin round a nice little right hander, (at about 130kph) when out the corner of my eye i saw one of those bloody L300 vans at the side of the road, tucked in by the hedge!! Promptly slammed the anchors on and took a quick look at the speedo, went past the van doin 114kph(approx) Does anyone know if you have to be doin a constant speed past these buggers to set them off or would it have caught me on the deceleration?? i didnt see any flash, doesnt mean i didnt get caught tho!!

buddy if it was pointing at you then unless you have a numberplate on the front of your bike it will be a bit hard for them to send the fine to you aye

No worries man, the camera can only ping out the back of the van, wheres your plate, on da back of the bike, no sweat... The L300 ATM's don't flash during daylight hours.

Correct, thats why Im glad to go past a camera front on but I would be wary of going past with me able to be photoed Well

One of my workmates keeps saying that in this case the camera operator will write down your number plate and time, and match it up to the pic. Then supposedly you get demerit points....he'd have to be awake at the time tho.
I have no idea if this is true of not, the workmate in question has a habit of skim reading articles and getting everything backwards
