Just ride it a gear higher than you normally would, the R will pull off idle, no snatchiness, just smooth accel'n, and yes they do corner well. Had a 'moment' myself nearly taking out an inside marker peg with my left shoulder on an exit not long ago (thought I was goin in nice n hot....shoulda been 20km hotter-on the Senna). You can trust the MVs far beyond a normal bike, then the R will impress you even more.

I still see myself owning a RC8 in the future but may just wait for its second generation to come out. In saying that there's 3 other bikes that I have my eye on too.

Guaranteed no bike sits idle around here (if it is, I'll hop on it). RC8 is definitely on the list, but think we will enjoy this one for a bit first
