    Honda XR 250 94 Model

Anyone know to change the oil in the front shocks of these bikes, the manual says that you can remove the forkcaps, undo the drain screw bleed the shocks & refill them... but no you can't. not this model
The caps dont pull out because they are bolted to the piston damper and wont pull out
What do I do now? Help please

    XR250 1995 Front Shocks

Dont need to answer, I bought a manual, when all else fails just read up on it.
For anyone that owns an old XR Honda and they havent changed the fork oil for a while I recommend they should, if you have dirty oil in your shocks you are in for a big $ repairs sooner or later. plus the bike will handle heaps better.

I found out the importance of changing the fork oil the hard way.
I came down off a jump and the right side fork seized down and stayed there hence why its important to change the fork oil.

And if you replace the oil in your forks without stripping them and cleaning the crap that builds up at the bottom of them, your clean oil will be dirty oil in no time.
