I took my RSV into the shop yesterday for the swingarm recall & they gave me a TGB 50 step thru to go home on & honestly, going into turn one at Ruapuna at 220k hanging off a sidecar has nothing on what my trip home was like.
Straight onto Hewletts road (a main Mt Maunganui port route) at 4.30 among the TD Haulage Kenworths was about the bloody limit, I had a mental image of that exact scenario happening to me.
The bastards can drop the RSV back to me & run the gauntlet on the fuckin scooter themselves & we'll see how hard they are.

sorry i like gory stuff and this is one of those videos you can argue for hours who is at fault, im going the both are at fault truck to fast scooter ride to blind and stupid etc etc
but you have the same outcome... MINCE!
It doesn't really matter who's at fault does it? My thought is that if you're on a scooter (or motorcycle, or small, slow car), you should be EXTRA aware of what other motorists are doing. This is a sad lesson in that very principle.

Exactly why a lot of arrogant people buy 4x4's cause they love the ability to drive around without much thought and have the comfort of knowing if anyone is going to die in a collision they're most likely to have caused it's not going to be them.

    Me, bitter? No...

Anyway, what is a coffee burn compared to making a 15 meter skidmark out of someones intestines?

He should get a bumpersticker saying: "Darwin is a trucker!"

Why did the second wheel pop him in half? Did it lock or gain traction or something?
