    I got an Aprillia.....

Well not the whole thing, just bits, specifically 2 bits being the mirrors off their SXV 550 supermotard to replace my bashed up existing chromed mirrors.

Anyone out there with naked bike looking for some sweet mirrors should consider these, they look great and work very well. Good vision, no blurring and objects appear somewhere near where they actually are.

Most importantly, they look wicked and have increased my evilness by about 10%

I had been looking around for black mirrors similar to those on the Speed Triple but they apparently have different thread to the Honda. There goes my lefty loosey righty tighty rule.

The stock aftermarket mirrors in most bike shops looked pretty budget and I was talking to a bloke at Mt Eden MCs who has the Aprillia, he suggested them and I placed an order from there. A wrecker would be cheaper but being reasonably compulsive I went for it. They look great.

I followed a feller on a new Ducati Hypermotard last night going into Upper Hutt.

The mirrors on those are most interesting. They hang off the bar ends.

No possibility of getting your elbows in the way with those.

But I imagine they're a complete bitch when lane splitting.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
