I don't really like that exhaust on the 1000 K5, might just be me though

    Ya see,
what you have to allow for, is that suzuki riders are always looking at the new model in the vane hope that suzuki might one year get their act together, and come out with a Real motorbike.
Where as Kawasaki riders don't have to look at the new models all the time, cos the one we ride now is just superb

Reminds me of the 'Dusk till Dawn' - "Come and stay with me" song

I reckon the new 1000s exhaust is dog ugly. Yuck. Rest of the bike looks wicked though. Soon it will be trick or unique to not have an underseat exhaust anyways. The black thou looks the shiz even with the wierdo pipe. Cajun the yela one appeals yes?

Yup, I agree with all the exhaust comments. I was like, "Urrrgh!" when I saw it on the cover of my MCN&T

The best (worse) one I've seen so far is the Enima. Or is that Emina?

    20th Anniversary of GSXR750

20 years they been building these things! Amazing huh? Are we getting this one out here ?

Apparently its a limited edition paint job, be cool if it had dry clutch etc like the LTD GSXR's use to .

I'd buy one of those Yellow K4 1000's that they're selling for $17,995.
With a Yoshi can and all. -> Check out the flyer in this months M/C Trader.

I don't mind yellow, hell if you save 6 thousand!! no one should.
Man, If I wasn't getting married in Feb, one of those would have my name on it.

When it comes to the new K5 Exhaust, is the small increase in aerodynamics really worth a thing like sticking out the back??

Anyone going to GP Trading's Dyno Open Day on the 27th? in Mt Maunganui??

That ltd edition paint looks trick. I had a 85 GSXR750 in blue and white, wish I could afford the new one!! I actually like that exhaust, its different and no doubt there for a reason. (ie aerodynamics, these same dumb drunk 'Japs' design the very bikes we love, our stereos, dvds etc. They're not so dumb)). Have to agree with the names thing, although you have to remember these cars were intended for the domestic market only, hence why the national hq decide colours and names for a lot of vehicles.
