    Carburetor pilot screws

The pilot jets are number 14, they have screws on the back of them. Are they surposed to be screwed right in or 1 1/2 turns out? Because number 17 is also adjustable. Is number 17 the pilot jet screws (set 1 1/2 turns out)?

    Sweet got that sorted.
I dont think my engine is getting fuel. It doesnt seem to fire at all. When i crank the throttle there should be a spray of fuel from the carb right? I cant see anything like that happeneing.

Do the carbs get fuel? Undo the float bowl drains at the bottem of the bowls to determine this. Unfamiliar with your fuel tap arrangement but if it has a "Prime" position set it to that. Once running switch to the main or reserve (these require vacum on some models of bike) if tank is low on gas when the bike is running. Also is there a spark?

Yeah theres a spark.....ill try the prime position in a minute. The float bowls are definitely getting fuel. Three of the four pilot screws are at 1 1/2 turns the other is stuck and im working on it. Im about to try spraying some engine start or just petrol into the carb.
