I'm sure if you waved $25K under their nose you'd be right!
Me, think I'd see if I could pick up a RC45 ......

$25K is only $3K under the 2008 price of a brand new MV Agusta F4-1000S.
I'd spend the 25K on one-a them and just tick the rest up on the credit card.

kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.
- mikey
A late model R6 insurance write off (cosmetic) to which I add:
- New fairings
- Lightwieght wheels
- Ohlins
- Power Commander
- Put the induction, electronic goodies etc off an 08 R6 wreck in it
- Custom exhaust with an aftermarket muffler of some description
- Throw the cylinder block away and get Pivotal Engineering to make a new one that uses the same crankcase and heads but with a slightly larger bore
- See how much money is left over (very little probably!!!)
Reason for using a Pivotal cylinder block is you can increase the swept area without changing the crank, you just attach the conrod to a different spot (doesn't need to be in the centre like a normal, round pistion). So the cc rating is larger without changing the crank. Pivotals are also able to rev higher (even more revs from an R6 engine heh) as the pistons can be designed to be extremely light in the high speed areas. Also, they don't rock at all so always stay square in the bore.
End result: hopefully a thou hunter/killer
Zen wisdom: No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously. - obviously had KB in mind when he came up with that gem
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity
Think i pretty much keep the k4 600 i have got
Starting would go suspenion front/rear/damper
lighter wheels
better brakes(discs/pads/lines/master cylinder(bremo of course)
Then go thru the yoshi site(http://yoshimura-shop.netmove.co.jp/...c_gsxr3_e&l=en)
race cams, ecu, and get most of engine parts for the k4 i could, full system
Once that all done, get the sucker tuned up to suit all the mods.
Get something like woodcraft engine covers (http://www.woodcraft-cfm.com/Scripts...Category=12701)
---
rest would be spend getting someone to teach me how to ride what i already got.
Second hand 04-05 ZX10R, in orange
Muzzy Stage 3 turbo
Life insurance
There's my one post, can we reply to others?
Triumph ST 1050 in Blue $20,990 new
and rest on Backpackers, food and petrol![]()
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
04-07 Suzuki GSXR 750
- Wiseco High Compression pistons, 800 cc overbore
- Head Skim
- Engine BluePrinted
- Porting and Polishing
- Yoshimura cams
- Custom Exhaust System
- Power Commander 3
- Av-gas...
- Marzocchi USD Race Forks
- White Power Spin rear shock
- Light Weight Wheels
- 6 Cans of Rattle Can Matte Black
Money left over: Not even enough for an ice-cream
That would kick ass
A 2nd hand BMW HP2 Megamoto would be right to go. de-baffle and job done.
no brainer MV Agusta 1000 with a cpl of k,s or new and steal the xtra $3k
Wait for an ex demo or 2nd hand KTM RC8 - Probably be waiting for a while though!!!
STD RC30.
OR... ohlins front and rear and a 90HP engine for the NC
I'd pick up a second hand GN250 for $250, and ENCRUST it with $24,750 worth of Princess Cut diamonds.
Not strictly sport, but very bling.
I'd go for this and then spend the rest on a bigger set of balls to ride like it deserves.
Check out the vid further down the page, pretty good
