Now I am P****d, What am I to do?

As you may or may not know, I brought a brand new GSX250 just over a week ago, my pride and joy, spent a good couple of hours cleaning and polishing it last night. Today I was down at the police station filing a report and at the hospital getting told I have a broken thumb...

    Lets go to the start.

Went to Mt Victoria today, like I do everyday. Parked my bike up, of course it leaning to the left on the kickstand. Went to the lookout and spent some time there, a few minutes afterwards I saw a red card speeding away, I thought, hmm...Odd. Went down the hill and there was my baby lying on her right hand side. The bastards had pushed her over. Now my new bike has a cracked fairing, scrapes all along the fairing, scratched mirror arm, scraped exhaust, bent brake lever, borken indicator and one pissed off owner with a broken thumb!!! (Broke the thumb picking it up as the bike crushed it)

I just don't know what to do, I know I am going to have to fork out for replacement bits, but what sort of price am I looking at?
Should I be pissed of at all the wankers of the world. Why me? Why my blue baby? :disapint:

What am I to do? I don't want to leave it with broken fairings etc.

    Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was nobody else on the mount at the time. I have insurance, but at $900 excess, I wonder if it is worth using the insrance.

Those mongrols...... just wish someone would smash up their car..... :smash:

I do hope that you can get replacements reasonably cheap....

Can you still ride with the broken thumb ok?

What about also trying the T&E paper as well.

Sounds bad, sorry. Bad luck dude.
Unless you can get the plate from the car, I doubt there is mch you can do.
For $900 smackers, I would forget insurance this time, and try and fix thigs yourself on the cheap.
None of sounds expensive to fix, you will just have a few battle scars on it.
Leave the insurance for when you really need it.
    Go and have a

Feel for ya. Ask the insurance for a damage assesment and then figure if you want too claim.

Did you park in a car space or in between??

I always take up the complete space. Stops cars trying to squeeze in and knocking you bike over. Had an arsehole a few weeks ago claiming that I should not take up the whole space as there was a bike park over the road. "Listen dickhead, my space, my choice, go fuck ya hand." My thoughts only. No point in pissing them off when it's uneccessary.

    !!!
This is a lot of damage for a push over I would ask the insurance company for a quote and then decide. You need to ask about the cost of insurance next year as it will be a lot more expensive having made a claim this year.

god damn, why the hell cant arseholes respect other peoples property, its doing no harm to them, why the hell do they have to fuck around with it.

Sounds like Gixxer 4 ever has the correct idea, but I would be inclined to check trademe and wreckers, as it would probably be cheap, but you will havto live with scratches !

SO inturn - if you want full repair, goto insurance and pay the extra, If you can live with a few scars IF (I couldnt I would hunt down the car and question the driver myself) then try get parts yourself.

Go have a drink and have a think, it must be a bastard sorry it happened to you dude.

There are no car parks up there, At the time I was the only one there and there is enough room to turn a bus. :spudwhat:

It was definately a push over as the bike was leaning on its left but landed on the right, there was no marks on the left, and that is 200kg of bike.

I just got a nice CBR and about to get my licence. Now I'm too scared to leave it alone beside the road now. especially if I go to school on it. F'n wanker homies are bound to knock it over.

Sorry to hear that dude. I usually keep a pretty close eye on my bike if I park anywhere that isnt likely to be watched over

Well that takes the bloody biscuit.. Thats a real shocker and the thumb is just life really sticking the wellie in to ya!!

Thats a bloody awful thing to happen. Bloody arseholes....

Have a think. Hard as it is, you might just be better off putting up with the cosmetic damage for now and just repairing the functional stuff. Do the cosmetics just before you sell it.

Is it just a phase or does the world seem to be filling up with rude, stupid arsehole types that hate everyone that has something they don't even though they don't really want it.

Let me know if you need and physical help with anything.
