My filthy auto does 70mpg, two up, with luggage. Slightly more on 98 and slightly less on 91.

Just done a check and my 1250 bandit did 19.6K/litre of "ordinary" riding, which gives me a range ( theoretically ) of 371km. But apparently the millage will improve in after a couple more thousand kilometers once it's properly run in.

    I get 18-20km /L open road, moderate riding. 48-50mpg
I understand the young guys can only get 33-37mpg out of the same bikes.
    I cannot understand why................NOT

haha yeah can't figure out why the fuel gauge goes down every time I ring it's tits off in every gear
I'm doing the capital cruise so will be interesting to see how it averages out over 1000km, might do a economy run to see what she uses at no more than 110km/h over a few ks

The best economy I've ever had is 17.75L/100KM and that was cruising back to Tauranga from Wellington. It's normally around 13-14L per 100KM.
Oh, the bike is an RSVR.

I'm getting around 1-2 litres per 100km at present on my commute...

(The RZ is laid up with gearbox "issues" and I'm riding one of the NQ50's!! At least it's still a 2T...)
Missus: What the f*&k is that???!!!! Where the f*&k do you think that's going??
Me: It's a [insert old broken vehicle here] can't you tell?
Missus: Oh for f*&k's sake... [slams door]
Me: Phew, lucky she didn't see what's on the trailer!

My 400cc scooter gives me 22-23km per litre if I ride pretty fast around the city and 26-28kms per litre if I take it easy and ride gently.

So far, about 10 - 12km/l although I really don't take much notice. There is certainly a grin factor.

GSX1400: Best with missus on the back and full top box 330kms on 21.5 litres travelling around 120kmh with the odd squirt overtaking and a few short squirts at around 160-170kmh.

Worst: Coro GP 180 kms on 21.5 litres
If the destination is more important than the journey you aint a biker.
