Since it doesn't have a petrol gauge I track things with Fuelly ... bit of a stats nerd :-)

Do I out nerd you by knowing it costs me an extra litre a day in cold weather or 2 litres a day in warm weather to wear my wet gear?

I need to put at least 16 litres in my R1 to do 200km(two days commuting). That's 12.5km/L.
If you can keep your head when all about you are loosing theirs.........it's quite possible you haven't grasped the situation.

I average 7.6l per 100ks. That's with huge carbs and -1 front sprocket. And I don't do cruze.

How about 38.13 km/l, or 2.02 l/100km, or 107 mpg? This from brand new to 1900km, mostly 2 up, (occasionally 3 up) and in stop/start traffic. And I mean stop/start traffic... Traffic light cycles normally 120 secs and some trips never out of 2nd gear. Plus there is also the odd out of town ride, 2 up, of 30-50 km where I can open it up a bit to open road speeds.

Fuck knows. I fill it up before the light comes on, sometimes it costs more than the previous time, sometimes less, depends where I am and how many bars of chocolate I buy at the same time.
