Made a cage driver cry this morning

Today riding along the road (60km area) having to move to the right hand lane because left was blocked with a big truck with the flashing arrows. No problem.

I indicate, wait for the car in the right hand lane to move forward, look over my shoulder and start crossing into the right lane.

Car behind me driven by some poncy bitch hits the accelerator and screams into the area where I was moving, causing me to have to pull back into left with a big fucken truck stationary in front of me. (due to its location I couldn't have pulled into right lane any earlier). I toot and wave hand - she pulls the finger at me. (btw she could have just gone to the right lane and there would have been no issue - its the fact she surged forward into "my" space that is the issue.)

Then GOD says "That's not on" and turns the lights red - allowing me to pull up beside her. (At this point I didn't know if it was a bloke or a chick - same action was going to happen anyway)

I tap on her window - but apparently she couldn't hear me as she was looking at something really intently out the front window.

So I bang on the window and yell at her how stupid her actions were and that bitches like her should keep of the road if they were going to drive like that.

Apparently she couldn't hear that either.

So Im now behind her as the cars move from the lights - and as luck would have it the twisty route that she followed just happened to be the route I need for work - she obv thought I was following her.

She is looking in the mirror every 2 secs. She is txt'ing someone and as such is litterley going over two lanes.

She actually stops in the middle of a roundabout txting (annoying a ton of cars) - but because of her erratic driving I wasn't willing to overtake. At that point she turns and see that she was clearly upset.

Anyhow a little later I simply turn into the work car park.

I guess having a largish black cruiser behind you with a big guy dressed in black would be imitating, but with a bit of luck this is one person who may now think twice before cutting cut a biker.

Hmmm, I think you should have stayed on her until you had the opportunity to explain to her in great detail, at length, just how unacceptable that kind of behaviour is and that no amount of flipping the bird at you could justify it.

Anyway, good thing to hear that you made it out of there without injury!

Would you have done the same thing if it was a bloke bigger than you?

Sounds like it was worth it, though.

Pity with this government is that as long as you're a certain age you can do pretty much whatever, and the government can't take into account mental age. I know 12yr old kids I would trust on the road driving, and 40yr olds I wish would be locked up from the way they drive.

I know it wasn't directed at me but...YES,but with a greater vigour. I've never understood why it's ok for others to bully motorcyclists or whomever on the roads.

    Yep!

When I pulled up I had no idea if it was a bloke or a chick. (I could obly see the back of her head when she pulled the bird)

And I have previously done the same with a guy bigger than me. But - then I have always been someone who backs them-self.

Can't see how that is relevant. Nobody is talking about starting a fight here - just a chat about how they could improve their skills and attitude as a fellow roaduser.

And should it come to an altercation - picking a fight with someone wearing armour, helmet and gauntlets is probably not the best idea. The bigger they are...

I'm sure she would've been bawling like a little girl if she'd actually caused you to crash and killed you, so I hope she maybe learnt something by you scaring her a bit.

Great story Tank, cheers for that, made my morning a little brighter. And the best thing is you didn't intend to follow her and freak her out, it was just where you were going, so you are blameless.

Once a woman passed me on double-yellow lines in a 100 zone, so close that I reached out and touched the car. ( just instinct to push something away I guess )
She pulled into the next town. I stopped beside her open drivers window, and told her what she'd done. She said "fuck off".

So then I just sounded my horn. My Stebel. The biggest, loudest model. For about a minute. Jeez, you should have seen her jump in total panic! She couldn't get out of the car becasue I was parked too close to her door, and her dignity didn't allow her to clamber over to the passenger door, so she just sat there, amidst the deafening blast.
My handlebar was on the windowsill, so she couldn't close the window, Stebel pointing directly into the car.
Then, point made, I simply rode off.

I did bad that day, but it felt good.
Determined to kill my bike before it kills me
