i feel for the organisers too
Just read who it was in todays daily snooze paper, fark mate if a guy had the breeding to be a great rider it was him, shit shit shit, haven't the family had enough grief the last two years.

Hope you are coping ok,as they say it hits you the next day harder.

Sounds like he hit a post,if not he would be fine, shit how many times have people gone over a bank(5-10mts say) and only had bent handlebars, broken levers and a hard push to get bike back onto the track.

Thoughts with families, not much more to say.

    Sorry

Sorry to hear this my thoughts go out to you and your friends family and friends. Ride safe everyone.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
    Wish you were here. QWQ

Sad to hear of this. Proof that freak events will always be with us.
    Condolences to the family.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Very sad news indeed. My husband went to a trail ride yesterday with his boss but it was bucketing down when they got there and his boss, being a fairly inexperienced rider, didn't want to take part so they headed home. He would have stayed but had got a lift with his boss so he had no choice.

Yeah, my heart goes out to the family and friends.
Organisers of trail rides try their hardest to make courses and tracks as safe as possible but unfortunately trees and posts etc come with the terrain.

    Condolences to all.

Yep on outskirts, about 15km from town.Area called Ararata,Makino area specifically.Really good offroad rides, and road is twisty as well to get out that way, very good views of surrounding landscape due to hills.
