    Dog/Animal Carrier for Bike

    heya

Ive been cruising Amirrikin websites (not by choice, you understand) looking for something that would make it relatively possible to safely transport a lil dog on the bike. The best I came up with was www.road-hound.com but that price is freakish and it looks like the pup could climb out of the side of the box.

Does anyone have any experience with dog or small animal bike transporters? Recommendations for having one purpose built would also help.

a cheaper option would be getting a normal pet cage and making your custom hard mounts for the cage.

And then test it with a soft toy 1st

Passed a guy on a Guzzi 850T one day.
He had a beer crate tied to the back with a Fox Terrier siting in it.
Dog had a lead tied to the bottem of the crate to stop him jumping out.(probably to chase large American Utes)

He looked like he was having a real good day.

I've seen tank bags put to goo use as a pouch or pussy carriers.

The dog can climb out the side thats why it has a leash on it.

Yeah. Or one of those metal mailboxes....

The dog leathers on the road hound site are cute, but look like a Harley riders! *snarf*

    I am deeply shocked.

However, now at least Im convinced that a dog carrier on the back of the bike is a much better suggestion than carrying the pup down the front of the jacket!
