Could have been a pushbike rider or motorcyclist just as easily, although one would hope that a motorbike would have the grunt to accelerate away from the hazard. (Assuming the rider was also aware of their danger and ready to take evasive action).

Look closer.
The truck is fully laden with heavy shit and honking along.
Very very hard to stop any faster than a scooter.
Was still in the wrong but the scooter rider didn't do themselves any favours either.

Let it be a lesson, Always give trucks a good braking distance!

Thats why you don't cut around a truck and then in front of it on a corner, and then sit in front of his bumper!, crikey. I've never seen what a truck can do to a person till then. be warned people, not nice!

bloody hell.

If you watch the scooter and truck when they're in the distance, the scooter is on the far left side of the road and it looks like the truck moves right to go around him, then the scooter decides to change lanes.
