Complain is all you can do, petty power hungry people do these jobs because it makes them feel really good about themselves.

PS: "gotten" is bound to get you a ticking off from Hitcher!

My dear you could not be more wrong if you tried!

I am Canadian, raised by a Canadian English teacher, and I can assure you that Americanisms are NOT OK, and not mainstream accepted there either

James!! No, very rarely get yelled at, but I hate bullies. This asshole today thought that he could be an asshole and get away with it - he was basically trying to be a bully. The best defense is to take their power away. I could have stood there, traded insults, or even gotten into with him - but I bet risking his job will drive the lesson home better. Same with mr Truckie, he thought he could get away with it. A few years ago, I would have given him a more physical response, but I grew up...

When are we going for another ride buddy?

Well, when you make noise, sometimes someone listens.

So far Wilson's has been very proactive. I've had a good response - I followed the advice (thanks for that everyone), and they've shown the correct level of concern. 10 out 10 thus far.

I got a call from the cleaning contractor, he asked for details, and listened to my version. I was completely straight up with him, and told him what I thought should have happened. He obviously thought I was being reasonable, so employee of the month guy is getting some help with his obvious anger management problems. reading between the lines, it seems the guy has a general problem, but I'm not sure if it's directed at bikers; I think I was just the lucky candidate / target for abuse that day.

So, to recap - like an Aesops fable, everyone has gotten their just desserts.

The relevance of the attached image is twofold.

    1) Listen to this music right before you see this dickhead the next time.

    and

    2) Do to him what is on the cover!!!

No tolerance for nutters like that.

Perfectly cromulent archaic English word. The term `ill-gotten' is about all that's left of it these days, but nevertheless it's fine to use, if a little old-fashioned. Many seem to use it ungrammatically, though.

Everybody is always nice to me wherever I park. Even parking wardens. Must be to do with the Honda. Nicest people, etc. etc.
