Well we could very well see another run of anniversary models in 2009 as this is the 100th anniversary of harley-davidsons first V-twin engine......cant wait....
Harley- Davidson celebrated their 50th anniversary in the fall of 1953, so it's 1954 models were designated as anniversary models.
I try to take it one day at a time but sometimes several days attack at once
Nice man.
We had an Electra Glide a few yrs back; took it to the States, rode around for 3mths then sold it there... We both loved every minute with her!
7th April 2008, 2 days short of two months of owning my new ride. A what a great two months. 6700km on the Ultra now. On last friday the wife and I took of at 6 o'clock in the morning for Wellington. Down in one day and spent Saturday in Wellington and rode back on Sunday. 1351km and went to work today.
Yep still love the Ultra!

Be the person your dog thinks you are...
should have booked a ferry and carried on down south
years ago a mate of mine bought an shovel engined early tourglide, left auckland one day and was in dunedin the next, said it was the best bike he had ever owned and regretted selling it
he replaced it with an evo heritage which was not a patch on the tourglide in any way shape or form
still have an 86 electraglide, have owned it for 12 years and ridden it around NZ the states and europe, for long distance work they take a lot of beating
Just Posted a Trip Report for our weekend ride to Wellington at http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...16#post1555716
Just had the 8,000km service done at Amps. No real problems with the Ultra except the bag for the top box was coming apart at the seam so asked for a replacement under warranty, done.
