Sorry Guys, no trip repot had too much fun. Already planed the trip to the HOG rally in Christchurch 2010.

The Ultra is now 19 months old and it has 39,9137 km on it. No real probles, had the front wheel bearing replace at 24,000km. Would recomend a ultra to anyone that plans to do lagre mileage.

I'd like to say "with pleasure" but it would appear ACC is putting levies on all things pleasurable and I'll save my coins for the bike rego'.

Well guys and girls, the second worst thing has happened. No, I have not dumped the ultra but sold her. 23 months and 48,000km of pure enjoyment of riding the roads and seeing New Zealand. Never have I had so much fun.

Hey but all is not lost!!!

We now own a brand new 2010 Ultra Classic!!!!!

Got the Classic over the Limited because we can do our own mods. Had the Flame running boards, Brake pedal and shifters along with the GPS swaped over. Got a limited top box rack and high stop light coming with flame heated hand grips. Got her booked in for the first service on the 15th, two days before heading off to Christchurch.

Looks like a great ride. Flame heated hand grips sounds like a great idea too, other bikes have them or just Harley?

    Great pictures.

I really like the third one with the classic old car, also because the background reminds me of home, same type of scenery to be found in southern Idaho.

Glad you like the Big Bitch...I have an 08 Ultra and like you love her for the Tour ability etc, keep my 95 Dyna for play days. Did 10000 miles in 07 and included Sturgis for 4 nights, am off to the Nationals on Tuesday if I can get my battery sorted. On the Ferry on Wed morning then booked at Gretmouth for the night, then down to Timaru for a couple of days then to CHCH, might see you there
