I do apologise if I don't know who you are... was it you Merv? I was too stunned by the friendliness of the moment that I didn't get a good look at the bike (was it a VFR?) or say too much. Only managed to just get my visor open before you disappeared and "split". I only split when the traffic is stopped or I'm late for somewhere so envied your confidence not to care

Cheers for the wee acknowledgement & chat - had a big grin on my face until the end of my trip.
yeah cause a guy with a moustache could be anybody but one with a wicked moustache is always called merv

    Hmmm...

My pick'd be you FS, going from a lumpy grumpy red VTWIN to a turbine like blue I4 - i suspected something was up. Your other personality is far more constant. But lets put it to the test eh?

How do you feel about this?

Know it's getting off the initial subject but, you are sooo right Blakamin. Did you do much riding in that area ??
When we shipped our bikes over to Queensland in July 2004 we ended up riding to Cape Trib (Or is it Cape Treeeeeb ?) Some great roads up there, especially after getting off the vehicle ferry - it was just an idyllic ride.

Some have the myopic view that only NZ has great motorcycling roads. Not so. Plus there is something about cruising into a town you have never heard of before and checking it out a bit. The small towns (and their pubs) have a lot of character. The downside is that there seems to be a hell of a lot of Aussies there.

After PI this year we drove the campervan to Sydney the back way - via Omeo and I then vowed to come back on a bike!!!!!!!!!!

Am getting costs/feasability now. Might take the LC4 if Denise doesn't want to come - and do some dirt roads as well.

    What a life!!!!!!!!!!

    I4?!?!

I have never owned an I4*, and the last one I rode was an RF900 last year, when I was looking at a replacement for SlartiFartBlast (or was that FartySlutBeast?)
The VifFerrari is a V4, you moron!

    I've owned 3 V4s now, one V-twin, and 3 singles.
    Vs rock!:spudbooge
(Or should that be "boxer twins rock"? )

Or you both have multiple personalities and are forced to share one because lets face it, good personalities are hard to come by these days

Really? If you have many goats with beards, then that means you have some without beards? Who then has the glorious task of shaving goats? And, just for laughs, do you ever shave only the sides, and leave a Goatee?
