    FINALLY upgraded from 250cc!

So woohoo! I managed to get rid of my lil Bandit and onto an RF600R!! And shite, I have to say the power difference is amazing! :P
Hehe, had I known it was gonna be this much fun(or adrenaline fueled excitement), I would've upgraded earlier.
Now I just gotta make it look purdy and sound good!
Anyhoo, this bike suits my physique(or lack of) and has the power to get me out of(and into) trouble, unlike the little two fiddy. So she'll be a keeper for a long while and I can start to enjoy touring and two-up now. Does anyone know of any common problems/quirks to look out for and worthwhile upgrades?(apart from another bike before the smartarses get a word in )
She's stock standard, body's in good nick.
    Cheers,
    D.

Shit that was a quick reply!

I just happened to see it advertised on Trademe on Monday night. Emailed them straight away about doing a deal with mine, got a reply the following morning. Picked it up that day.
Was at the Honda dealer in Mount Maunganui. Had 2 owners, the last one an older guy who had it for 14 years! So lucky score really. Needs some cosmetic stuff done, but that's nothing. You're right, there's not many of them around.

Low seat posistion on those aye?
I know the feeling upgrading from a 250 to a 600. I had to buy a YZF600 while i still had the 250, sold it soon after while still on my 6R and rode the 600, then had to borrow my wifes 250 to sit my full
The RF looks tidy Danboy... theres one up this way somewhere, Wellsford i think.

Paint isn't faded either. Just crap photos. I'll borrow a mates digi-cam and take some decent ones soon. "It's bright red like a ferrari!!!" Haha.

Yeah definitely low. Footpegs are pretty high though. Feel like my knees are around my ears. lol. Think I'll make some lowering brackets, unless there's a kit available. Puts a lot of weight on your shoulders and hands in the current config.
Hehe....yeah that's what I'm gonna do. I'm not far off getting me full but couldn't pass up the opportunity.

That it is! Gotta locate some more. One of them is peeling and I wanna do a good cut and polish on the fairing. Bright shiny new stickers would help.
