Quick, you and onearmedbandit go tell these people off for laughing and being callous at someone getting killed in a motor accident!

"one less idiot on the road to worry about"

"Serves the silly prick right!! (Damn, another easy target for tickets gone!)"

"The last thing to go through his brain was the back of his skull. "

Oh, but wait a minute... that was a car driver so he doesn't count, ay?

It's only when someone says those things about dick motorcycle riders, (that were a much greater menace to other road users btw) that everybody acts all shocked and mortified...?

    Double standard? Hypocritical?

Or are you people just full of shit like I suspected?

Anyone driving under the influence, not taking proper safety precautions and who's a well known repeat offender is going to have trouble finding my sympathy.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

There's never any excuse for going out time and time again to risk your life and endanger other's lives... And should that happen, to take another's life, is the worst thing anyone could do in my opinion... Though it's bad enough to kill yourself stupidly and put your family through pain (and/or embarassment)
Who, me? I just wander from thread to thread.

You never answered my question - But Ill answer yours.

The difference is in one thread they are laughing at the black humour of how he died. He is a repeat offender who has actually gone out of his way and put effort into making something (the false seatbelt), when just taking the easy path and using the real seatbelt could have saved his life.

There is a difference in laughing in Darwin Award type deaths as opposed to actually being seriously happy that the guy is dead, or wishing for him to die. Can you see the difference?

I think we should do the same with people who insist on stunting on public roads.
    thus my quote below stands.

Lets say one of your kids (or your mum if you dont have kids), did something silly in a car - (Like driving too fast for the conditions just to get somewhere on time) - they end up face first in a power pole dead. Would you be OK with that? Would you be happy if others were?

So let me get this straight. Two people who pull wheel stands at the funeral of a motorcycle accident victim and plow into, and kill each other deserve our sympathy?

    Not from me they don't.

Sympathy needs to be broken up into different meanings. Sad for family? Yes sad for them? No.

Any loss of human life is sad just to differing degrees.

So do I. Two motorcycles plowing head on into each other through stupidity by one or both of the riders fits totally into that criteria.

Exactly how big is this island you want to put people onto? Where do we stop?

Regardless - My point remains the same - enjoying the harm that has happened to others is psychotic.

As per my other post in this thread - I cannot imagine you coming on here going "My sister txt'ed while driving to tell me she was going to be late, and ended up having an accident and died. Fucken good job - stupid bitch. Im glad she's dead."

Yet you seem to be happy to do it to others.
Dont mean to add fuel to this threads fire.. but NZ is an island.....

There is plenty of empty carparks and industrial estates out of the way of public vehicles for stunting.

...would not bother trying to tell the yanks that though, why would they bother if they dont have an audience to fuel their continent sized ego's?
