for your bike?
I really don't want to use my car much and have no qaulms about riding in the rain. Just not sure what damage it does to the bike?
Thanks

Bikes are, like cars, designed to be ridden in all weathers, so apart from getting dirtier quicker, no problem.
Proper gear and extra care due to the reduced grip, ie: longer following distances, and a place to dry your gear when you get where you're going and you should be fine!
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
They're designed to do it. Engines are waterproof, they have to be air-tight anyway.
The only issues come down to rust -- give chrome parts a wipe with a dry cloth when you get home -- or electrical problems caused by them being dodgy in the first place.
Pedants make sure bikes never go into the garage wet, but many people just don't bother on a commuter.
Thanks! Now I just gotta get a good tank bag so that I don't have a super heavy bag on my back everyday!
If you've got a Ducati - terrible. About the most non-waterproof vehicle I've ever owned. I can get all sorts of side effects - indicators stop working, neutral light stops, oil pressure light goes ON! Dunno what the new ones are like - but they couldn't be much worse than my old girl...

Get one of these:

They're less irritating than a tank bag. They have a bra that fastens around the pillion pad/seat that you clip the bag to and are expandable. They don't get in your way when you are moving around and you can get to the petrol cap without taking the tank bag off.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
Ventura is a NZ company. You can get them from any bike shop. Dold Industries are the distributors.
