    LOST. One number plate!

Headed down to help at Manfield fri evening, awoke Sat morning and noticed I was down one Number Plate, Reg and Wof which were attached!

Now it fell off some where between Auckland and Fielding..... .though I think it was on at National Park, or Otrahonga

    Came down this way http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...e=UTF8&t=p&z=7

So if you found it or are heading that way keep an eye out!

oh got pulled on the MW at 0030 last night for the obvious but managed to talk my way out of it/

Mate don't sweat it. Dive into onroad north shore and you'll get a new one for $15.00 -complete with a replacement rego sticker

Well I'm going back up to Hamilton today from Taumarunui, albeit on a bus so even if I see it I can't grab it for you (though if you think it was on at National Park it wouldn't be anywhere along that stretch of road), but seriously, how'd it fall off to start with?!
Who, me? I just wander from thread to thread.

Vibration caused the bolts to slowly wear through mine, and it fell off leaving the bolts still well attached to the bike. My one now is cushioned with rubber under the washers.

Well as we are nearing the end of a financial year the Councils are realising their poor planning has left them with some money that if they don't spend they will loose next year!

This coupled with other short sighted planning techniques sees lots of roads having been poorly made in the first instance now needing repair, which is done in a haphazard sub standard way, again allowing the process to repeat ad infinitum .

SO what I am saying is yes, vibration was the most likely cause of some bolts loosening and depositing my plate somewhere on the Paraparas......... or some cunt nicked it on Fri night whilst I slept and I only noticed it missing when I hoped on the bike in the morning!

yeah lost mine a couple of weeks back as well. Cost $8 from VTNZ to get a replacement. The most difficult part of the process of was having to wait over half hour at the local police station to report the old one lost. Was rather happy it only set me back eight bucks.

After about 2 years on KB, I finally realised why your name sAsLEX has capitals. It's probably because your name is Alex, right?

Took me two years, but I got there eventually.

Just create a new one in Word, print it out and tape it on.
FINE. This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
