Seems like your lovely man has no choice but to behave, good work that girl! Sean, take it easy mate, I understand the impatience to be up and back out there and doing. Dont be in too much of a rush.

Take care both of you. Hope for a catch up sometime over Easter.

    Hey Sean!
I've been watching your progress with fingers crossed and I'm really pleased to see you recovering. You were the first person I met on KB, and haven't forgotten the friendship you offered to the 'newbie' 3 years or so ago, when you waited for me at the mobil on Paremata roundabout for my first KB ride.

Take care mate, and I hope to catch up with you again soon.

    All the best!
    Mark.

Soo many people to thank, I have a great family, some awesome mates and a beautiful g/f (and her kids). Bit more to read, if you want to come have a bullshit session then just send a PM or visit. It'd be like listening to Drew but I can't follow you out of the building (but am better looking).

Spec KB ta to FJ and all the welly folk. Talk real soon!

Shouldnt be too long before skellybum is posting again, he stalks me with txts at the moment .

Hes had the bandages/splints removed from his legs. Is going through the boredom stage, wants to go home, wants to move around, have a party, ride his bike at the hill climb, go on a road trip. Doctors are pleased with his progress

Going to spend Friday afternoon/night with him (I will be very shhhhhh drew!), hopefully can take some dinner in for him or at least some pudding, would be a nice change from the hospital meals, then I will head to the Hill Climb Saturday Morning.

Great news indeed! But keep telling him (for he will inevitably have forgotten) that he has had head trauma and needs to take things easy. Pushing himself will only prolong his recovery. After he's tired of watching the lawn grow, he could always watch some paint dry. And the second cricket test starts tomorrow!

He could always do my Treaty of Waitangi assignments, that should keep him suitably unstimulated and bored!

Glad to hear the good news. Listen to hitcher, skimping on the recovery up front with a head injury will hurt in the long run.

Yeah Sean, come to the cricket on friday. We'll bring the booze, you bring the nurses.

It's those kind of comments getting him into trouble James! That, and when I visit, things seem to get a touch noisey and the nurses tell me off.

Told the (quite cute) nurse I needed to use the (my) facilites today:

"...and how are you getting to them these days Mr Kelly?" (I can't walk)

"...well I've been flying there the last 2 weeks, but if you can find my missing wheel chair then I might give that a crack instead"

Yes I'm bored. Some fairly ugly skin graft scars on the legs, sleep lots during the day and not enough at night. Great staff here though... including a team of Doctors that all look like Rob Lowe and 2x as handsome. Fortunately RantyDave is gifted in the way of the Mac and has provided me with my own iBook and a Vodafone Vodem internet connection. Mint, you're a gentleman Dave.

Chicks dig scars! The good sleep will come when you get home again. Nice words about the staff too!

Sorry for the edited quote (not)

Thought about unsubscribing this thread, but will wait a little while longer.
