    from factory they are limited to 180... doesnt cost much to fix though.. cheap resistor from dick smith etc..

    In factory "mode" they are limited via speedo but I understand its a pretty easy fix so there are plenty out there that go as you describe.

    Correct. When new, the speedo and speed went up to 180kph. With the speed restrictor removed (the resistor from DS as mentioned and can be done by the bike shop) the speedo will still only read up to 180 but the bike will go faster (up to 240kph apparently).
    I have just found out that they have removed the word gullible from the dictionary

    cheers thanks for that, currently have a 1200y was thinking about swapping/trading, would like to get one painted in the old suzuki red yellow and black colours
