Yeah, but did you hurt yourself Scott?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

I AGREE....BUT when you play by nobodys rules, not even your own, You DONT/CANT moan when you are playing the BIG boys game, and find they DO have RULES...IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE RULES... GET OUT OF THE GAME...IGNORANCE OF THE "RULES" DOES NOT MAKE YOU EXEMPT FROM THE PENALTYS ($$$$$$$$$) while playing the game. Same rules apply for ALL of us. You fucked up (binned) YOU pay...simple eh !!!

Should be able to put ti on hold and have remaining rego run out after it gets put back on the road again. On the flipside, if you let the rego run out and its not back on the road and you go in 3 months later you have to backpay it as well. The whole contiuneous licencing thing is a PITA
Also with continuing licencing, if your caught with expired rego you get a fine, but it never ran out. If you are a month late paying for 3 months you only get two months rego plus you have to pay the fine as well.

Let the defenders on the site , give us reasonable comment on this .

I understand 3 months min put on hold, thats ok. But it should be able to pause your rego.

Don't even get me started on having to pay rego per car/bike/whatever. You should pay a one off yearly fee......
But it is not road tax, you pay that when you buy gas. The rego is the right to use the bike on the road for the time frame. (and a little ACC)

Not trying to goat at you or anything.

Sorry to hear of your incident.

What annoys me is owning multiple vehicles each has to be registered - I can only use one at once. I'd prefer a user rego system.

I would prefer there is an RUC system for ALL fuel types, but we all know that will not happen.
