Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Only being a newbie i learnt early that bikers normally wave at each other.. the other day i passed a radar copper stopped on the haywards so i flashed at the next bike coming towards me.. he waved back... Oh i thought .. i wonder how you tell the difference between a flash (hi ya) or a flash( slow down theres a cop ahead) ???
    hopefully he slowed down.

Wave your finger in the air in a little circle mimicking cop lights.

Or give him 3-5 flashes in quick succession then he might pick up on it not just being a greeting.

Hmmmm, not crossed paths with the weekend warriors on their Hardly Moving Sons then?

Much as I enjoyed my previous banter with Scummy, I can't see where DB was coming from.
SD, we'll probably never agree on much, and an inflexible stance on any front can show a lack of something, but should we meet at any kind of do, I'll gladly tip a can with you as a fellow biker. Can't vouch for your good chapedness though......

Mehh, just speak to anybody that's met me, that should give you an idea of what kind of arsehole I am.
I tolerate ALL types of bike and most types of people, however slack-jawed, mouthbreathing self-opinionated ego-inflating toss-pot wankers may be an exception though.

Face to face you might be surprised.........

That has to be added to the list of KB mantra, sort of like gargre and sprotsbike etc etc; and coming out of Edgecumbe for some reason seems to make it even more special.

The case went to court, where the magistrate asked the prosecuting officer what the point of the speed trap was, whether it was for lowering the speed of drivers or collecting revenue. Of course the officer replied that it was to lower drivers speeds, to which the magistrate pointed out that this gentleman was actually helping the police and wider community, by encouraging others to slow down. Case thrown out.

I have the theory that if you flash to warn other road users theres a traffic unit up the road YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE ROAD TOLL !!!!! Sounds harsh ???? think about it before you throw that statement out.........

The speeders rely on their radar detectors and oncomming drivers to warn them theres a cop up the road, slow down for it and then up their speed again.

We all know (aspecially me being an ax ambulance officer) the increased carnage that even a slight increase in speed can cause in an impact.

Warning other road users to slow it down is not only legally wrong ... its morally wrong and irresponsible too.

And yeh yeh ... prior to my going out and cleaning up the carnage I used to do it too.

I only flash my lights at oncomming traffic if theres a HAZARD up the road to slow them down.
