You're probably right to have a bit of a 'quiet time' - sometimes the truth hurts and the best thing to do is just to sit back and have a bit of a time to think.

    Ok, thats enough humour....

I said no, and I mean no! Respect my Authoritai! - Eric Cartman

Hey, listen, if you make a turd travel at 300, must everyone go out and sit on a turd? hahahahahaha

It was a toss up for me between the 4 litre bikes. The looks of "The One" got me in the end.

I wonder if Mr Hanky the Christmas Poo can do 300.

Pity you ended up with that somewhat derogatory appellation of "Stonechucker" mate. I reckon Cartman suits you HEAPS better.

Nyah, nyah, nyah, nyah, nyaaah, nya.

I hear Aaron got a good time after I left on his CBR1 and he's built like the proverbial brick shit house and hasn't had the bike long. He weighs a lot more than me. Its all a bit irrevelant once you can go above 230 odd that's all you can use in most race situations (track stuff I mean, not on the road). Like the rest of you I was just curious to see what happens at full tit. If I do it again I'll use Tony's trick and start 100m back, I reckon that's what we all needed.

Jimbo, yeah that mufti was in the tree shadows between Fearthers and Mtbrh, just sth of the tight left-right bridge. He's been hanging there a bit lately.

Yeah - he seemed pretty happy with his runs but reckoned your pipe made you go quite a bit faster too. Interesting though eh with the two identical bikes - bit of case study for the effects of pipes or rider weight. Oh, or skill I guess. Ok - that's actually quite a few varialbles.

yousa needa ride some more roundbouts!
is w not constant for a set rotational speed through w=2*PI*f though

not my field just thought it would be harder to hold at the circumference since through v=r*w you would be moving faster, but as you said it does look like i made an error

You should play with gearing. When would you be-able to use all the power if it takes ages to get up to full speed?
The faster you get there the better!
    Makes for good wheelies too!
The front was feeling light at that speed, had 1000revs to red line in top, so I was nearly there. Would not have liked to do the flying with any sort of cross wind.

The Harley guy did not realise and quickly moved to the left hand side, don't know about his mate.

Stoney - Not a problem, been a marshall before really should have two, one to keep ALL the traffic, including bikes, behind the marker signs and the other for lookout.

PS There was a thread that mentioned the weight/speed ratio. Basically the heavier you are the slower you will go.
