    Not only in mx.

Here is a question (slightly off topic but bare with me). Which New Zealander competed in and won a round of a world series event less than a month after having his spleen removed after a big arsed crash?

It's OK to disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

    Correct!

Puts my complaining about my old back into perspective, when you consider Josh's having his toe bones sticking out of the top of his foot just a few days ago.

http://www.youthstream.org/ is dead for me - anyone else got a live feed link?

    edit 19:02 just started working
    edit 19:04 just stopped again
edit 19:32 they are playing with it - live results have just appeared, disappeard and now seem to be working....
edit 19:39 this is funny - now they've added colour - leaving their run a little late!

Just googled that, and found a page with the title "Mike Metzger in Near Tragic Crash"

Must have been a chick who wrote that!

And now 8th, after timed practice, 3 secs off the practice pace.

    http://www.youthstream.org/reslistsnew.aspx?ct=1&c=6

And interestingly Strijbos, Barragan and Pourcel are behind Josh....

Given what Josh said his strategy was this sounds good.

Good result for a busted foot

He was quoted as wanting a top 10 result, so with 6th in moto1 and 7th in moto2, gave him 29 points for the day. That has him 6th equal overall.

Only 11 points off the lead too.
