In space, no one can smell your fart.
Sofa, you will love the FXR150. I've heard good things about its performance (surprisingly good for a 150) and you won't spend much on petrol.
Like Martybabe, I too started with a 125 (also 327 years ago!), but it was a clapped out piece of cr*p and had trouble keeping up with city traffic. However, I learned on it so when I got my 650 all was sweet. See pics on my profile to see how long 327 years ago was.![]()
RIDE, LEARN , ENJOY...and you will use LOTS of gas, because you'll never be HOME !!! WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF MOTORCYCLING... see ya out there.
When life throws you a curve ... Lean into it ...

nice choice, my first bike was an fxr.
dont worry about the speed, its all comparitive, its probably still faster off the line than any car you've driven.
have fun and ride safe.
Good stuff!! I I started out on the 150 not long ago, nice easy bike to ride with all the power you need, for now
Have fun aye
WANTED;ZX9r 96 engine or parts to repair my first beast
don't listen to anyone who says you'll get tired of the engine - i owned mine for nigh on 3 years and still rode it after i bought my vfr400!! great, fun zippy bikes with more than enough stonk to keep you on your toes.
original quote from 98tls - Who gives a shite about Kw when you can all arrive in Fox at the same time sit and have a coffee and thank fuck for motorcycles..whatever the wording on the gas tank.
Congrats on the bike.
