    Learner Plates

Just browsing through Trademe and i've seen a few learner riders placing their L plate on the windscreen instead of the usual rear number plate spot,
if someone can help confirm its legal , it'll help me decide to drill a hole in my sexy number plate or not.

    Cheers

pop hole in the L plate and slip it onto the same bolt as your rego/wof (which ever it is) on the number plate. or on the reflector that should be there. You can get away with the L plate about 75% hidden behind the plate from my experience if you dont want to show it off hehe. thats how i did it

"If you're riding a motorcycle with a learner licence, your L plate must be displayed on the back of your motorcycle where it is clearly visible to other road users."
