Txt spelling does not belong anywhere but text messages. We are not texting here. Bad spelling is something that we are all guilty of, some more than others. If you know how to spell and write well, you should use your intelligence and let your message shine, not dumb yourself down with stupid abreviations.

Oh, I agree about spelling words correctly here! I think text spelling should be left to texting... My 13 year old daughter chose my nick, and I like its' quirkiness, so I used it, FWIW. I also agree about punctuation. Some sentences are extremely hard to understand without it.

Riding along the motorway at 70 KPH is just asking to be run down. Yes we know the law for learner riders and all that but it should be looked upon as a minimum standard, not a maximum. In other words, common sense should prevail and the learner rider should avoid the motorway or, if they must use it, keep up with the tempo of the motorway traffic.
