The young girl on the KTM in the photos is fantastic, she rode in the Jr class and the novice(senior) and Blitzed past me!! Im a true novice, 23, been riding a couple of years and racing for a few months. I thought an intermediate class would be good as half the guys in the novice class were leagues ahead of me......give a real novice a chance to taste victory!(great fun tho) Guess they have it structured as they do for a reason???........any comments??

We didn't go to the trail ride. I decided to take her to Pukekohe for her first taste of road racing. What a mistake that was, we witnessed the double fatality crash. Don't think she''l ever want to ride on the road though. We left Puke immediately and called into Ardmore to take our minds off it..... All good now, but was not nice.....

Yea thats a horrible accident that happened today. Very sad and unfortunate for the families and friends

its a hard one dude,i race novice and have started winning a few, there are some quike guys in it for "novice", but when i stepped up to have a go in the open class i found i got caught not being able to keep up with the fast guys, but was well ahead of the slower guys meaning in most cases i was racing by myself which was not much fun ,so racing novice is more fun, especialy when some of the faster juniors come up. i now wat you mean though, i use to shit myself just racing in the novice,then i realised the importance of getting to the first corner before everyone eles.

Yea i bet its a mean feeling coming in first. Did u win the novice today at ardmore? (it was a guy on a KX) Seems that ya have to be a decent intermediate rider to even hav a shot at winning any noice race ive ever been in, Ive got a long way to go haha.
