I got me a new ride ... less than chew fiddy though!

Well, as part of the Cape Caper Challenge (to Reinga and back), I scored a nice little Suzuki A100 1981 bike from 'tardme!

Did the pick up yesterday from Palmy (flew in on a ATR72, 7.05am redeye express) and was met at the airport by Ian, the seller and a darn nice chap!

Did the post office thang, and off I tootled towards Taupo! Riding and learning the "new" bike was a blast, and as Ixion sez ... learning the art of conserving speed was a must.

Anyway, by the time I got to Taupo, it was just after 1pm ... I had beaten the guys riding down to meet me! (Ixion, Donor, Maverick, Sprag) I waited a hour for them, we had late lunch and trucked off with Meeky_Mouse and all was good...

Until "Pippi" started to act up! (oh yeah, the name Pippi just popped into my head when I was riding out from Fielding)

Left the bike at Meeky's mouse house (sorry couldn't resist! ) and pillioned back to Auckland on Mav's SV (damn good ride!)

Today, I borrowed Donor's cage and hired a trailer from Hireafool and picked up Pippi from Taupo. Meeky was kewl and helped heaps with loading her up (Pippi, not Meeky! Sheesh!

Eventful ride back, helped a farmer drop his broken down quad back to his farmhouse and gave some gasgas to a biker who had run out of it! Karma wheel completed!

Well, Donor and I got out Mr Blocky and Mr Mallet and proceeded to wring life into Pippi, a bit of two-stroke oil, a tweak on a nipple and she fired up! Rode her around South Auckies a bit to get her familiarised with our roads and she was zootling around no worries!

Mucho thanks to that man Donor! He is the bomb!

And watch out for more adventures from Pippi and her plonker of an owner gijoe1313!

Pic1 : double hard bastard on a double hard bitch!
Pic2 : Why! I do declare Miss Pippi, I am entranced with your body!
Pic3 : Donor's cup doth runneth over in his gargre praked with bikes
Pic4 : Pippi's close up, but Rosie is not amused...

If'n I wasn't such a double hard bastard, I'd almost be inclined to blush with them accolades!

Forunately, I am a double hard bastard, so that's crisis averted!

That is one nifty little chainsaw GI - and seeing the look of sheer joy and glee on the face of a certain Zeocen was well worth the trip to his gargre.

I want one dammit... (an A100 folks, NOT a Zeocen...)

So much for "I'm buying a Hornet 919 next"

    Lemme think, A100, CB900, A100, CB900....for me it would be CB900

I'm regressing, but I digress! All in aid of a good cause, 'tis a clever ruse to ensure that not even I shall know what bike I get next! (there is a RZ350 on offer.... )

but you don't count 'cause you ride Eyetie stuff, 1 gear forward, 5 in reverse!

And I think I know my buying patterns now ... I'm collecting the Alphabet!

I told y' we could have done it by the roadside.

Mr Block and Mr Mallet are certainly an indispenable part of Mr Donor's workshop armoury. What worries me , is where did he acquire this ? He is an ambo , I have this vision of him freeing up broken patients with Mr Block and Mr Mallet.

    - Block
    - Mallet
    - Spark plug
    - Cable ties
    - Duct tape
    - Rubber tubing
    - Bulbs (headlight/brake/tail)

...aside from standard tool fare, screw sticks, adjustable spanner, common-as-muck ring spanners...

And correct size plug tool for your bike! (Both if you really want to impress peoples...)

Hush you, I defer to the greater fount of knowledge that is represented by the son of Ares, scion of Thessaly and forever doomed to keep spinning on a whirling wheel of fire! ... No? The interdweeb is your friend and enemy! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ixion

However I do note that you have taken upon the mantle of understudy, apprentice, dogsbody, lackey, flunkey, padawan etc... to the mythologically named one!

Yes, muwahahah! Actually I was the second in line to email the seller about it, the first buyer fell through even though he was a local in Fielding... so's ups steps I!

Offered the amount of 850 squiddies and received the reply in the affirmative! Lovely chap to deal with ... and off I rode into the ride blue yonder on her! He even chucked in the first tank o'gas free!

I think there will be a shortage of little bikes due to the madness that is KB!

    Madness?

    This is KKKKKKKKBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB!
