The battery is a 13 amp one. So it's not a littely.
I'm charging it with my 2.4 amp charger and keeping an eye on it.

Well, I charged the battery for about 4 hours last night.
All of the lights on the charger told me it was charged.
Put it back into the bike, cranked her over and yippee,..she goes !!
Did it a couple more times and no worries.

Mrs Nudie said she had no probs starting the Guzzi this morning.

Won't be doing that silly mistake again !!

Good stuff, NM. Live and learn, eh?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

I got myself one of these
I know what you mean about sensitive Italian electrical systems
Since having this piece of kit life has been a whole lot easier. From memory it cost around $120 and I now basically plug my bike in when I have finished riding and let it do its thing.
It lets me know once it has finished charging the condition of the battery, if its still strong or weak and does a great maintenance check.
No way I can overcharge or wrong amps etc. Simple!
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

Hmmm,...they look like a good idea, madmal.

I guess the issue with brave words is that while trying to make a fast getway, I gaurantee the Guzzi won't want to start !!!

Has anyone ever actually used a parking light on purpose?

I've never used it, except to accidentally flatten the battery.
