i think you can get a brand new hornet 250 for $5500, (or a brand new ninja for $7k)

V twin Honda 250 is a great ride! Service it right and they pretty bulletproof. I think they're about 8 and a half new so the price aint too bad but look around just to be sure. Mines an import with an unsure mileage and wouldn't trade it for any other 250.
