ZXR 250 C, it was just a little beauty that you could throw around corners and thrash it.

The Rickman Metisse - I think it is the bike I am still searching for,but nothing could ever replace it.I have never ridden a bike that was so connected to my psych - my eyes connected to the steering,my right hand directly to the engine.I am sure I would see the bike at the Legends of Dirt Festival in Wanganui at Easter...I still know the frame number....it calls to me.....

My 1985 GSXR750F. It did a year in the NZ Champs back in '85 then was parked up along with the spare bike for 11yrs. Not much done to it other than blueprinted and balanced motor and oversize carbs, but it would leave my mates one for dead. It later would become the bike I lost the use of my arm on and in hospital I told my brother to sell it. I'll own another though.

KX80. It was so cool. Power was on or off, no in between. Loved to have kept it as a pit bike.

I know I'll regret selling the VFR. I know it'll be a marvellously reliable bike and the person who buys it for cheap will reap the rewards of all the money, time and frustration I've spent on it. But whilst it's mine, it'll continue to die at random intervals, try to spit me off and demand more money.

88 RC30. Swapped it for a Fireblade which honestly was a better road bike (and a lot more powerful). Still miss that old RC30 though and today it is worth a heck of a lot more than an old Fireblade.
