    Yeah, baby come back now.....

Finally after three and a half months my baby has come back from the bike hospital, no thanks to Triumph UK's stunningly slow delivery system. Whys is it that I can get a 100kg box of wheelchairs from Canada, door to door, in 14 days but it takes two and a half months to get a couple of pieces of plastic from the UK........it ain't that much further away......

Anyways......the reason she was in the hospital was due to me having my first bin since 1973, in fact my first bin ever on a road bike. Helluva way to find I had a medical problem I didn't know I had. Still there were a couple of upsides; now my specialist knows exactly what he is dealing with and Mr Plod decided, under the circumstances, to leave me alone...bonus

Some pics; yes the colour has changed. I was never really that exited about the yellow and since the whole of one side of the bike had to be repainted anyway I took the opportunity to change the colour completely.

    This time..........

Also a big thanks to Steve (katman) at Wheels of Taupo for doing a fine job of putting my bike back together (despite the efforts of Triumph UK). I know he put in extra effort and time not covered by the insurance to make sure the bike was just right before it left the workshop. A wee plug if I might, Steve has a number of jackets (mine pictured) for sale, half price at $199. These are breathable, have hard armour in the shoulders and elbows and a foam backpad. They have separately removeable waterproof liner and thermal liner. Will do nicely for next summer.

Try talking to Dave at Kiwi bike in regards to Aprilia parts, forget it, the italians seem to have a siesta for 3-6mths, then you have to wait for shipping. I'm not having a go at Dave or Shaun, (they did a shit hot job considering) but I got some item's from the states within 6 days......not 6mths
