The ONE you wish you never sold.

Have you ever had a bike you sold and you really regretted it?
i've been lucky to have owned a "couple" of bikes over the past few years and although I've had fond memories of most of em I don't regret selling any of them Barr 1
It was a YZF750 NZ model done a shit load of K's and showing it a bit in the bodywork.
There was just something about that bike that felt bloody fantastic to me.
    Wish I'd never sold it
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?

My wife's RG150. I wanted to race it in streetstock coz it just went so well.

Oh well. I'll have to wait until I'm even older before I'll have the money to race a bike.

When i was 17 in the Uk i had a cagiva mito....I LOVED IT!!!!

It had an arrow exhaust so it had the 33bhp n weight absolutly nothing, looked amazing and was so much fun to ride. I sold i when i got my licence and went and brought a 96 gsxr600 and missed my lil mito so much

The gsxr was faster and way more reliable but wasnt as easy through traffic or as much fun in the twistys, and i found i just missed the character of my lil red italian 2stroke.

So i now have an RS250 which satisfys my love for italian 2strokes, but this time when i come to upgrade i will be keeping my lil 2stroker...lesson learned

My first bike , a Kawasaki KR1 b1 South Affrica model in mint condition. Had mint fairing and rebuild motor before I traded it thinking I wouldn't ride it much. Owned it for 13 years. Appart from it's ablitlty to grenade at short notice , it was a very enjoyable bike , light , and agaile , enough power to have some serious fun on the twisties.

The problem would have been my better half ...... With 2 unfinished project cars , a couple of M/bikes and two daily drivers in the garage the KR1 would have had to be hidden at a mates place. ...... I've run out of room.

My 99 GSXR1100. I sold it to by a house with a now ex partner. I would have been better to keep the bike and sell the partner.

It was a lovely bike and she wasn't

I know a guy with that exact model for sale right now, cheap too!!!

My only regreted sale wasn't even mine yet. I paid for half of it then being young and stupid stopped, never even rode it...sniff sniff. The beast was an MVX250, repowered with a T500 suzuki motor, complete with expansion chambers and decent carbs. I'd owned 2 standard titans before, and couldn't wait to ride that power in a frame that DIDN'T have a hinge in the middle.
