    uh-oh ... single vehicle fatality (16 March)

    New Zealand Police Alert 11:25am 16 Mar 2008 Waikato

    Location of incident: Bush Road, Piriroa, Hauraki plains

    Incident type: Fatal vehicle incident

    Police are in attendance at a Motorcycle accident at Bush Road Pipiroa on the Hauraki plains.
    The motorcyclist was the only vehicle involved in the incident. The driver was a male. No other details are available until next of kin have been located and advised.
    Serious crash investigators are making their way to the scene. Diversions are in place at the northern and southern end of Bush Road

    Motorcyclist dies after Hauraki Plains crash

    A motorcyclist is dead after an accident on Bush Road, Pipiroa on the Hauraki Plains.

    The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.

    Police declined to release other details about the dead man until next of kin had been located and advised.

    Serious crash investigators are at the scene.

    When will this ever end, news of another motorcyclist killed on NZ roads. My thoughts and heart goes out to the family and friends of the deceased rider. RIP and to all of u motorcyclist out there PLEASE takecare as enough is enough.

    Very sad..
    We passed another single bike crash on State Hwy 12 near Maungaturoto today, not sure how the person was. Emergency services were in attendance at the time.

    Sure make you think, expecially when you are riding at the time.
