No K8 1000 showing yet. So either they are dropping it, or it will be coming out in the full fairing as well..??

He's quite proud of his efforts & I reckon he deserves a pic on here.
Mods include fairing kit, seat pod, tail tidy, hugger, cans, K&N filter, inj re-map etc.
Sounds great & goes like stink too....
The SV would need a hell of a lot of added meganess to make it into a R version. For a start it would have to be as good as a TLS, then it set its sights on the TLR

    Morcs,
Say something positive or fuck off!!!
The SVs may not be up to your standard, but their ours and WE like them.
Leave us to our (possibly dillusional) bliss.

Hey they are family, and im just highlighting the fact that the SV should never get an R label.

The SV has a tamer, smooth, more usable motor.
Easier to ride, better handling etc...

Against the TL which was built better and had more power.

    I dont see no negatives

At 10kg heavier and a meter wider it shouldnt have much trouble finding one, name a mag i will quote a comparison between the S and R that generally ends in "give me the first one anyday thanks"

I have always liked the SV1000, reading through this thread makes it easier tend to towards the big Jappa as an upgrade, great new bike price....

Dunno about an "upgrade" from the Sprint, it's a different bike altogether and not as comfortable for touring. It is a great bike, but make sure you get a good ride on one before you buy. Though I'm probably only stating the obvious here, anyway...
You don't get to be an old dog without learning a few tricks.
Shorai Powersports batteries are very trick!
