    Best 2-stroke oil?

Sweet a oil thread, ok so I was using Shell Advance Racing X2 fully synthetic but it has become near impossible to get, so I use Castrol TTS.
Now I have to say that the oil is used in worked race bikes hence why I want to know what you guys consider the best cos altho the best is most likely dearer... it would still be cheaper than a engine rebuild.

What 2 stroke engine oil do you reckon is the beter in racing conditions and WHY?
    cheers DD

Yours isn't a fully worked race bike and gets ridden by a Nana so used 30/40 would be fine

I notice you didn't dispute the bit about "ridden by a Nana" though

Just wondering, does the type of 2-stroke oil really matter for a 2-stroke scooter? I was given some Mobil 2-stroke oil when I bought mine, 200ml of the stuff, I don't think it's fully synthetic or anything like the stuff you fallas are on about. Says it's for lawnmowers & motorcycles. Any good, or should I dump it and get some expensive stuff from super cheap auto?

i have run Elf 2XT for the last 5 or 6 years, never had any problems wiht that, ran BEl-Ray H1R before that with no problems,

most of the wel known brands do a full synthetic, and they all seem to be pretty good,

    Worked?

Not racing it, just for round town and stuff. But I do want to take good care of it.

Poll closed after 12 votes - WTF???

I think all the top synth brands will be just fine.I was using Silkolene, just because I was able to get it cheap, and was very happy with it.I've used TTS as a stop gap a few times and noticed no difference.I'd be happy to use any of the other brands too.
