Arguing with an Engineer is like wrestling a pig in mud.
After a while you realise the pig is enjoying it.

I was hugely impressed by the Tauranga folk. Most, and I do mean more than half of the cagers pulled over for me. I reckon it's only Auckland..
When I got back to Auckland I just sorta sighed and just sat in the traffic.. to miserable to bother attempting to lane split.
Woe to You Oh Earth and Sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding
Reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is six hundred and sixty six.

Back at the start of Feb the Mrs and I had a holiday in Nelson.
I was stunned at how polite and coureous other drivers were. We were in an unassuming rental and anyone we came up behind made an effort to allow us past.
Contrast this with just about every trip on the motorway or out of the city in Auckland. There is always some dick travelling slowly and holding up faster traffic.
mmmm not so sure Carver, been cut of twice in the last 24 hours from morons pulling out in front of me at intersections. Hamilton drivers suck like the rest of them. to busy eating texting or arguing with the kids.
Ive run out of fucks to give
I've been truely amazed at the number of cars that move over to the left to allow me more room to pass when out on the bike. Every one of them gets a wave of acknowledgment as much as anything to say thanks for seeing me. The more we show appreciation to car drivers who courteously share the road with us the more car drivers will notice us.
It might be one way of reducing the "sorry, didn't see you" scenario.
