Nope not at all, front wheel in soft sand sliding down the hill and rear spinning it up, handled it perfectly, throttled the rear around with my foot down, standard practice I would have thought for a heavy thumper.
Ive run out of fucks to give

Well, now that you mention it, I have another cunning plan up my sleeve for May. Involving some private farm roads around the Owhango/Ruapehu area, with a farm stay o/nighter planned.

Once the Kawhia ride this coming weekend is over, I'll work on the Owhango ride.
Your welcome to pop out to kawhia, or meet up with us Sunday morning for a ride.

We're meeting the Auck crew at the Raglan pub 12.30ish. Probably go via Old Mountain Rd, and rejoin the whatawhata Raglan rd near Te Uku.
From Raglan, head to Kawhia using whichever gravel rd that suits the newer riders.
Guess we will leave Hamilton about 10.00am for a sedate ride. Will PM you if your keen on Thurs.

Lazy bastard, I'm getting up four hours before I go to bed to build bike from scratch, chiselling motor from lump of cast iron dug from the back yard, taping rubber trees three weeks ago to get product ready for vulcanising tyres.
I've still got to dig for oil to refine into unleaded (with minimal carbon footprint) petroleum to provide for entire consumption for Auckland for 5 years before I'm allowed to go.

Fook me, 10 am, that time hasn't been invented around here.....

    Be good to see you!
