    Sports bike haters

Yeah so the weather was good for riding today. Went out and tore it up out on some back roads. Was coming back through my neighborhood at the posted 25mph speed limit and some pencil dick neighbor of mine is heading out of his driveway just as I pass by.

The guy proceeds to follow me back to my house and then give me bullshit about speeding through the neighborhood and how I should stick to 25 mph and such. Gives me the whole sob story about deer and children and old ladies and such.

I proceed to stop myself from telling him to fuck off (he is my neighbor after all) and politely reply that I WAS doing 25mph and that I always do 25 mph unlike about half the cars that go through.

He then tells me he heard my engine and there is no way I was going that slow.

I begin to explain that my bike is loud and I was in first gear and blah blah blah....at this point I've just had it and I walk inside and ignore his responce.

I wont be surprised if, come tomorrow, there is a nice little notice on my door from the friendly neightborhood homeowners association (Nazi's) about speeding motorcycles through the neighborhood. Since I am the ONLY motorcylist in the neighborhood that would basically be referring to ME.

Funny but I havnt seen one notice about the half million grannies that go 55mph + in thier crown victoria's through the entire neighborhood, rear end people, and mow down street signs on a near daily fuckin' basis. But get one 25 year old on a sports bike in the place and its all going to hell. Something has to be done.

I was having such a nice day too. Damn haters.

    End of rant.

Be polite the fookers all carry guns innit.

Perhaps FKNamerican a practical demonstration is needed to keep said Nazi group at bay.

No need to defend if you were doing 25mph...let them rant and just throw the note in the bin and put the kettle on...

LOL, yeah you never know who's packin' heat when your in the good ol' US of A......especially in NC.

I went out shooting just the other day and was amazed at howm any peeps were there at the concealed carry class. The classroom was almost standing room only it was so full. Couldnt believe it.

Im all for gun rights and such but the whole concealed carry shit scares me. All too easy for a fist fight to turn into a murder when everyones got a 9mm in thier back pocket.

Funny I should say that b/c I own a tricked out Bushmaster M-4 clone. Surefire light, Bushnell holographic sight, flip up iron sights, etc and I will be the first to argue for gun control and I will be the first to vote against concealed carry permits in general.

Anyway, Im happy again. Ordered the clear alternatives fender eliminator for my bike today plus my buddy is making me a custom licence plate bracket to clean up the bike a bit. Cant waite!!! I'm gonna ditch the pegs too so the entire rear end of the bike will be clean and smooth......I'll take some pics when its all done.

I tell you, nothing makes you feel better like spending $$$ on mods

I hope you don't ever see that same ranting neighbour speeding down your street in his big old SUV, sure as hell would take him alot longer to stop than your R6 if a kid runs out in front of him.

    Have fun spending money.

It is quite amazing how neighbours pick on bikers, yet ignore other blatantly bad road users.

One of my neighbours has a Range Rover Sport (Supercharged). If they ever go slowly enough down the communal drive, I will stop them and ask them to reduce the risk of death to others by moderating their speed.

I hear "You're bike's noisey" from neighbours. No one mentions the noise from the Supercharged Range Rover!

I am surprised they managed to hear my carefully slow moving bike over the sound of their screaming kids.

Anyway, old bike is sold. New bike will be louder, but still considerately ridden.

Bloody whinging neigbours. Just smile nicely and ignore him.
    Or, be a mongrel and:
-tune your bikes full throttle response at all hours of the night
-invite all your biker mates around for a bbq and stunt session on the street(make sure all the impressionable local kids are watching with thier eyes on stalks)
-practise writing your name on your driveway.......with the rear tyre
-make it race from 0 to 25mph...every single time

Good on you for trying to be nice to a neighbour. If he followed you home he should have realised you were only doing the speed limit, shouldn't he?

Hope he didn't completely ruin your ride. I bet there are some lovely roads in NC

Gear the bike down so first gear is 25mph at full throttle. Get an engineers report saying this and send it to all on your street so when they have your bike going down the road at 15,000 rpm (or whatever the r6 taps out at) although they cant hear themselves think they can be assured your only doing 25mph.

My neighbour just told off my mate for parking his car outside my house (slightly out of the common the driveway) easy enough for a truck to go past. He wasnt v polite and just said dont park ur car here rudely and drove off. Guess he knows what 2 R6's, a bandit 1200 and 2 gixxer thous sound like 'warming' up their engines at 10k rpm.
