I think its like a step up from an LTD, the motor sounds sweet, it idles fine, and revs out fairly smoothly, but it is fairly slow so theres something not right there it has leaky headers, it pisses oil out, and the starter clutch is rooted so I'll have to fix that, but the air suspension still works and it rides ok, and the shaft drive (same as a gt750) seems strong enough so I might just strip it down and see if I can make it faster, it should be good for 120mph if I can get it to lose some weight
I have a 1987 GT750 in the garage. Great bike. It took ScorpyGirl and I all round the South Island prior to me getting the 'Wing.
Starter clucthes are a well known problem on the GPZ/GT570 series
Never had any problems with the shaft drive, but the rear air supsension is suffering a lack of damping at the moment.
Keep the shiny side upright, Rhino.
